As Peter’s life in the communist East deteriorates, Sabine struggles to adjust to her life alone in the West. Her only chance to get her husband across the Iron Curtain is to enlist the help of an American GI, as they are still allowed to cross the border without being searched. The dilemma unfolds when Sabine begins to fall in love with the young soldier.

Our Opinion:

This is a film that Hello film will be looking out for. We are particually enthusiasatic about its two strong leads. Diane Kruger was fantastic as the impeccably named Bridget von Hammersmark in Inglorious Basterds. Whereas the starring male,Thomas Kretschmann, is no stranger to the German history with roles in The Pianist and Downfall.  For director Micheal Johnson this is his firsts full length feature film, but his  second film as a Director. This virginity was took by , a kids documentary about bears.  So Divided, watch this space….
